President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday arrived the place where he grew up in Daura in Katsina state for Eid-el-Kabir.
A large number of individuals thronged the Daura airstrip to welcome him.
An Air force helicopter conveyed the president and members of his immediate family.
The president was welcomed by Katsina state governor, Aminu Masari, Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk, and fellow politicians among others.
Buhari looked much radiant and grinned as he waved to the mammoth crowd.
The president returns to his hometown for the first time after some months.
He was in London for 104 days on restorative(medical) vacation.
