Job seeker punches out man’s teeth during football game.
A 20-year-old occupation seeker, Toheeb Afolabi, was on Friday charged before a Surulere Boss Judges' Court, Lagos, for purportedly punching off a man's teeth over European class matches.
The denounced, whose location is obscure, is confronting a charge of ambush. The Prosecutor, Insp. Gabriel Ekundayo, told the court that the denounced had on April 27 ambushed his neighbor, Jubril Hassan, by punching him a few times on the cheeks. "The blamed and the neighbor were battling about football matches including two opponent clubs in Europe.
"The blamed gave him a few punches and simultaneously, expelled his teeth,'' he said.
The offense, as indicated by him, negates Segment 171 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. The segment gives three years to attack occasioning hurt. The denounced argued not liable.
In her controlling, the Judge, Mrs M. I. Dan-Oni, allowed the blamed safeguard in the total for N50, 000 with one surety in like total. The case was suspended to May 23 for trial.
